Most frequently asked questions and answers

Goods may be returned within 14 days of purchase and must be returned in the original packaging in which they were received. Some items are non-refundable such as monthly treat boxes, personalised items and sales items, unless the product is faulty or damaged. Please note that Em’s at 27 does not cover the cost of returned goods unless the product is found to be faulty or damaged.

Em’s at 27 does provide free wax samples with purchased items. We provide a vast range of scents and appreciate that it is not possible to purchase every scent or type in one order. We therefore provide a wax sample to our customers orders to enable them to experience the range and assist in making a choice for any future orders.

You may collect your paid for order from our premises in Bedford should you not wish to pay a postage fee. However, this feature has been intentionally omitted from our website, when completing your order. Should you wish to collect your order, then please contact us via email prior to placing your order and we can discuss your requirement. 

Unfortunately, we do not have a shop which can be visited. We are a small business which operates online only.

Em’s at 27 uses paraffin wax for the production of our wax melts. This specially blended paraffin wax is of superior quality, developed by an industry-leading manufacturer to produce a professional wax blend and especially formulated for use with our professional grade fragrance oils. 

Free delivery is available on orders over £25 and within a 5 mile radius of MK45 3GN. We will make contact with you to advise when the local delivery will take place. All other orders are subject to postage charges, unless agreed to be collected.

Postage is currently £3.99 unless otherwise specified on certain products. This postage is for the allowance of goods up to the weight of 2kg. Should your order exceed this weight, it may be subject to additional charges.

Postage covers UK Mainland only. Whilst we can post to Ireland, this may incur additional postage charges, which we will need to establish and provide you with a quote. We DO NOT post internationally due to stringent Customs regulations.

We use Royal Mail as our courier.
